As the Accounting Coordinator (Americas), you’ll play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller by ensuring accounts payable and receivable are processed efficiently and in line with Qantas policies and procedures. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you’ll build strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners. Your clear communication and proactive approach will help resolve account queries and drive positive business outcomes. Success in this role will come from your ability to balance financial priorities with the needs of suppliers and customers.  

 

You’ll have – 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance AP/AR role  
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a business-related discipline  
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions  
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office products  
  • Strong customer service skills within a complex business environment  
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills  
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities  
  • Experience managing multiple countries’ finance laws and procedures is highly regarded
