What We DoPerforms a variety of routine and some non-routine analysis functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, with a higher concentration in Accounts Receivable. Responsible for assisting in process improvements, standardizing and streamlining procedures, creating written desktop procedures, training, metrics, research and correction of reconciliation discrepancies and special projects.

Job Description

  • Responsible for managing, prioritizing and distributing team workload for Cash Application.
  • Investigates, analyzes and tracks simple to medium complex cash related issues.
  • Researches and resolves discrepancies on general ledger accounts related to areas of responsibility.
  • Participates in process improvements, cost reduction and issue resolution initiatives.
  • Hands-on strategic individual who works independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Assists in monitoring of the accounting close process.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Relies on experience and judgement to perform job functions.
  • Possesses a certain degree of creativity and flexibility.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Requires critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Problem Solving-identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Demonstrates a conceptual understanding of accounting and finance principles and the ability to apply them to the duties described above.
  • Strong computer skills including all applications in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and analyze problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Experience facilitating meetings with high level cross functional teams.
  • Experience with mainframe system, Oracle preferred.

The pay range for this role is $47,450.00 - $63,200.00

 

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
