Job Title: Accountant - I

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid schedule required)

Employment Type: Temporary 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury & Cash Disbursement Analyst to join our team on a 3-month temporary assignment. This role will serve as a key point of contact for sector customers and Corporate Treasury, ensuring smooth cash and disbursement operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in cash management, banking processes, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between sector customers and the corporate treasury regarding cash and disbursement application processes.
  • Coordinate cash management requirements with Corporate Treasury, Enterprise Systems Group, and external banking providers.
  • Process ACH, checks, domestic and international wire payments, transfers, and fund foreign bank accounts.
  • Utilize SAP to review bank activities and reconcile cash accounts.
  • Support month-end closing activities.
  • Assist with setting up and executing international payments.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of automated financial systems and processes.
  • Support special projects as required.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Treasury and cash management experience.
  • Background in financial services.
  • Knowledge of accounting and cash controls.
  • Government contracting experience.
  • Understanding of FAR, GAAP, CAS, and SOX requirements.
