The Accountant I is responsible for accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information in a shared services environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist in month end close process
- Review ledger accounts and prepare appropriate journal entries
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Prepare, record and analyze accounting transactions
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records
- Collect and analyze information, problem solve and make decisions
- Assist with audit deliverables and ad hoc projects as requested
- Interact daily with accounting team and internal customers
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent education; professional experience may be considered
- Typically 0-3 years of accounting experience
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in MS Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP Accounting and Reporting software; strong working knowledge of US-GAAP accounting principles; experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounting Software a plus
- Behavioral Profile: Analytical Thinking, Learning Agility, Innovation, Executional Excellence, Earning Trust, Effective Communication, Facilitating Change, Customer Orientation, Decision Making, Influencing, Optimize Work Processes, Business Acumen, Stress Tolerance and Continuous Learning
- Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required.
The pay Range for this role is $63,000 - $68,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
