ABOUT GOODR

We create and sell active eyewear for anyone. No Slip. No Bounce. All Polarized. All Fun. Interested in joining our team? Keep reading.

OUR VALUES: We have two core values: Fun & Authenticity.

  • FUN = Being sh*tty isn’t fun. Agreed? Taking pride in your work, finding joy in being GREAT, and celebrating wins… and losses. Now, that’s fun!
  • AUTHENTICITY = Focusing on being authentic over being liked. (Next-level guru stuff. Count it.)

Fun Fact: We do not allow email to be sent internally. Carrier pigeons only. JK, we use Slack.

AUTONOMY: We practice autonomy, empowerment, and accountability so that every team member can be in control of their own life.

  • HYBRID WORKING: This role is required to be in the Inglewood office every Tuesday and Thursday with the occasional third day thrown in.
  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: We have an all-company learning program so that we’re constantly leveling up our skills.

SUSTAINABILITY: We think Earth’s pretty rad. That’s why we take action wherever possible to limit our impact on the planet.

  • 1% FOR THE PLANET MEMBER: 1% of goodr’s annual sales go directly to environmental organizations.
  • CARBON NEUTRAL: In 2019, goodr became a 100% carbon neutral company.

Fun Fact: goodr celebrates every Earth Day by releasing limited-edition sunglasses with frames made from 100% recycled materials—and the packaging is 100% sustainable, too!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Let’s be honest: Most people hear "Account Operations" and immediately think of beige cubicles and endless "per my last email" chains. But what if it was actually about being a retail hero? What if your job was to be the bridge between a kick-ass product and the fans who are dying to buy it?

If you’re a detail-obsessed professional who prefers a high-five over a formal handshake, you belong in our Flock as an integral Account Operations Associate! We’re hunting for a self-motivated superstar to join our Sales Ops team—someone who can handle the heavy lifting of national scale without breaking a sweat or losing their sense of play.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support account growth by applying established retail strategies and best practices and escalating opportunities to the team
  • Coordinate retailer onboarding for assigned accounts, ensuring required steps are completed and timelines are met
  • Support business reviews by coordinating logistics and preparing performance reports on account performance
  • Handle purchase order processing and order communications
  • Track customer benefits and identifying customer eligibility
  • Develop and implement recovery plans if necessary
  • Becoming absolute BFF’s (friendship bracelets highly encouraged) with our retail partners
  • No direct reports – you get to lead the charge, without managing your fellow flamingos
  • This role is in the Sales Operations and Enablement team and will report directly to the Manager of Sales Operations & Enablement
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
  • Loves everything above
  • Asks a lot of questions
  • Has 1+ years of professional experience navigating the high-stakes world of order management for national chain accounts
  • Proven experience working in a wholesale B2B environment (a BIG plus if in CPG setting)
  • Is a NetSuite (or other enterprise-level) wizard who can navigate complex systems without losing their cool
  • Possess a black belt in EDI transactions, with the ability to resolve exceptions and keep the data flowing like a smooth California breeze
  • Demonstrates a strategic brain for data, specifically when it comes to analyzing POS data and sell-through reporting
  • Experience with SPS Commerce & Analytics and Salesforce is a BIG plus
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • A self-starter who can rely on their skill in prioritizing and organizing their workflow to coordinate multiple departments
  • Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
  • Loves the work more than a paycheck
  • Thinks planning and organizing are fun
  • Loves getting and giving feedback
  • Is into personal growth

  • The ability to learn and grow as a person
  • Paid vacation (we encourage you to take time off!)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
