Job Category

The Account Manager for our agent platform is responsible for owning and growing key client relationships, signing up new agents, driving performance, and ensuring long-term success across the program. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, balancing day-to-day execution with strategic guidance to optimize results, improve performance, and identify growth opportunities.

This position works cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Media, Product, Project Management, and Onboarding to deliver a seamless client experience from onboarding through ongoing optimization and expansion.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing relationships and communication
  • In addition to managing existing accounts, you will be responsible for growing our agent network by signing up net new clients sourced from strategic partnerships, business development, and referrals.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics (volume, conversion, revenue) and provide actionable recommendations
  • Lead client calls, QBRs, and strategy sessions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues, escalations, and integration challenges
  • Partner cross-functionally with Media, Product, Sales, Biz Dev, and Project Management teams.
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities, including upsell and expansion
  • Align internal teams on prioritization and execution of client needs
  • Track and communicate revenue, forecasting, and performance trends
  • Drive client success, retention, and long-term growth

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, or Sales (preferably in a tech-enabled or performance-driven environment)
  • Experience working as an insurance agent or with insurance agents (preferred)
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, or technical products (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics, revenue models, and optimization strategies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (client-facing and executive-level)
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building processes from scratch
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 USD to $80,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
