Job Description:
As an Account Manager at WorldStrides, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and enabling life-changing educational travel experiences for students and educators. You’ll be responsible for driving growth across your assigned territory by building strong relationships with schools and teachers, identifying new opportunities, and delivering world-class international programs that align with our mission to broaden students’ global perspectives.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities within assigned schools and territories.
- Act as a trusted advisor to teachers and school administrators at the middle and high school levels, helping them create or enhance their international travel programs.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation through qualification, proposal development, and closing.
- Understand client needs and tailor program recommendations to meet educational goals, budgets, and logistical requirements.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly communicate WorldStrides’ value and inspire educators to engage their students in global learning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth program implementation and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed activity and revenue targets, contributing directly to the overall success of the IPS division.
- Share insights and best practices with colleagues, offering feedback on market trends, client needs, and innovative sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in B2B or educational sales, ideally within the travel, education, or experiential learning industries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and engage educators.
- Highly motivated “hunter” mindset, comfortable with prospecting and managing a robust pipeline.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for education, global experiences, and helping students learn beyond the classroom.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
