Zola is seeking an exceptional Inside Sales and Account Manager to help manage and grow Zola’s Wedding Vendor Marketplace.

Zola’s Wedding Vendor Marketplace helps engaged couples find and connect with local wedding professionals (venues, photographers, florists, and more) to plan the wedding of their dreams. Our Account Management team plays a critical role by building strong relationships and driving value within our supply of wedding vendors to meet the demand of Zola’s large, fast-growing base of couples.

Here at Zola, we’re seeking a highly motivated and results-driven person to join our Vendor Marketplace team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales by cultivating strong relationships with our vendors (clients) and ensure satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about delivering value to clients and driving business growth through strategic outreach. 

We're looking for a self-starter who can ramp quickly, manage a high-volume pipeline of vendors, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the entire Account Management team by sharing with and learning from colleagues. This job is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, organized, persistent and adaptable. A scrappy startup mindset and positive attitude are key.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and manage a strategic pipeline of clients and prospects and consistently perform against a monthly quota.
  • Manage an outbound communication and sales process, reaching, identifying, and connecting with decision-makers through a high volume of cold calls and emails on a daily basis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Zola’s wedding vendors, understanding their needs and performance in order to provide solutions and recommendations so they can achieve the best results and to retain vendors who may be at risk of cancelling
  • Become an expert on Zola’s vendor-facing product offering, services, and benefits in order to sell effectively to our existing wedding vendor customer base in order to achieve revenue targets
  • Support vendors in their use of the Zola platform by educating vendors on benefits and opportunities, anticipating potential challenges and proactively offering suggestions, using data to understand vendors’ performance and  communicate with them to make improvements to their listing and engagement.
  • Use a data driven mindset to identify where your funnel & process can improve
  • Synthesize and quantify feedback and blockers heard through customer calls and communicate to the larger team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in account management, sales, or a customer-facing role.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Resilient mindset to effectively navigate and embrace change in a dynamic work environmentMust have strong verbal and written communication skills; able to give strong and persuading product presentations by phone/zoom
  • Positive attitude and a drive to win.
  • Ability to represent Zola, be the voice of the company, and interact with vendors in a professional manner
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Creative problem solver; someone who is a self starter and rolls with the punches
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Experience with Hubspot is a valuable asset, but not a mandatory requirement

The salary for this role is $50,000.
