Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to drive the growth and success of our wholesale business. This role will oversee a portfolio of specialty boutiques and national accounts, develop inbound leads, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in relationship management, has strong sales instincts, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to retail partners.

As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding Petite Plume’s retail presence and ensuring our partners are well-supported. By building strong relationships and proactively identifying opportunities, you will drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and contribute to the long-term success of our wholesale business.

What You Will Do:

Account Management & Sales Growth

  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of specialty boutiques and national accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retail partners, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts by analyzing sales performance, recommending products, and optimizing assortments.
  • Actively develop and convert inbound leads into long-term retail partners.
  • Source and pursue new wholesale opportunities to expand Petite Plume’s footprint

Account Support & Operations

  • Oversee the entire order lifecycle, ensuring seamless communication and fulfillment.
  • Address account inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely solutions to ensure retailer satisfaction.
  • Provide partners with product updates, training, and merchandising recommendations.
  • Partner with buyers and internal teams to curate assortments that align with brand vision and account needs.
  • Oversee order placement, stock levels, and replenishment to ensure optimal sell-through and minimize excess inventory.
  • Work closely with marketing, eCommerce, and creative teams to align messaging, promotions, and product launches with retail strategies.
  • Represent Petite Plume at trade shows, buyer meetings, and virtual events.

Data & Strategy

  • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and forecasting in HubSpot.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams regarding product performance, pricing, and market trends.

What Experience You Need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in wholesale account management, sales, or a related field within the retail or fashion industry.
  • Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) to track sales and customer interactions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for trade shows, account visits, and industry events (approximately 10%).
