We are looking for an Account Manager to join Element Fleet Management.   As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for a key role in developing and maintaining effective relationships with existing clients within their portfolio to ensure win repeat business and maintain and grow revenue targets by executing on proactive client renewals, pricing optimization, share of wallet opportunities. This position is a critical component of achieving growth objectives, account retention, and building a consistently superior client experience. There is a strong preference for candidates in the South, Southwest, and Western United States.

  

A Day in the Life   

  • Develop and maintain effective customer relationships within existing portfolio to ensure sustain and grow existing revenue, win repeat business, and achieve growth targets by executing on client renewals, pricing optimization, share of wallet opportunities.
  • Be in continuous outreach and/or active discussions with existing clients to uncover requirements through Know Your Client strategies. 
  • Develop creative solutions to help meet customer needs, goals, and objectives through Joint Business Planning and engaging with client executive stakeholders. 
  • Evolve client partnership by articulating Element’s value proposition and suite of products and services, manage / overcome objections and, and address outstanding client escalations, questions and concerns.
  • Develop client strategies to achieve revenue growth and client retention.

Requirements  

  • BS or BA in business or related field required, MBA preferred
  • Experience and comfortable working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Proven strong financial and business acumen required
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, and close opportunities within existing client portfolio
  • Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years in strategic account management or related position
  • Experience with building relationships with multiple levels of client stakeholders including C-Suite.
  • Experience within the fleet / vehicle management or a related industry is desirable
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to be organized, prioritize workload and execute plans effectively
  • Resourceful with the ability to navigate within a large organization to achieve client and corporate initiatives
  • Travel requirement - 30%-50% locally and across US/CAN border (company vehicle provided)

The hiring base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $132,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
