Own a portfolio of enterprise brand accounts, advising CMOs and senior marketers on consumer intelligence insights. Represent Resonate at client meetings and industry events.

Every brand we work with is trying to answer the same question before they spend real money: why do our customers do what they'll do next? That's what Resonate predicts. In this role you'd own a portfolio of major brands and sit with the people asking it - CMOs, heads of insights, senior marketers. Your job is helping them turn what they learn into decisions about where the money goes. No direct reports. You own the accounts and you own the number, and renewals and expansion come out of doing the work well rather than chasing them.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning a portfolio of major brand clients. You lead the relationship and you're the person they call when the decision is hard
  • Taking a messy marketing problem from a CMO and handing back a clear answer with the data behind it
  • Finding growth in your accounts, showing the client what Resonate can do about it, then working with Sales to close the expansion
  • Running QBRs that prove what the work produced and set up the next quarter
  • Watching adoption and usage closely enough that you see a renewal problem coming months out, not weeks
  • Keeping your Salesforce forecast honest. The relationship work only counts if the number is real
  • Representing Resonate in front of clients and at industry events

What we're looking for

You'll need

  • 5+ years in account management or customer success in SaaS, data, or MarTech
  • A record of renewing and growing six and seven figure enterprise accounts
  • You can hold your own in a room with a CMO and be useful in it
  • The ability to tie what we do to a number the client can measure
  • A habit of turning complicated marketing problems into a recommendation someone can act on
  • Forecasting and account planning discipline. Your numbers are right without anyone chasing you for them

Strong signals

  • Experience with consumer intelligence, audience data, research, or analytics platforms
  • Time on the brand or agency side, so you've been the one receiving this kind of advice
  • You've worked with Sales on expansion instead of running every deal solo
  • You use AI tools to get through account data faster and turn what you find into a client conversation
  • Fluency in Salesforce, or the kind of CRM habits that make picking it up quick

Who does well here

You're curious about your clients' businesses and it shows in the questions you ask. You take ownership early and follow through without being managed. You'd rather flag a risk while there's still time to fix it than hope it goes away. Priorities shift here as we grow, but you can move with that without losing the thread on your accounts.

This is a team that keeps score, but the wins are shared. The people who do well here pull in Sales, Product, and Customer Success instead of working around them.

Why Resonate

  • You're advising on predictive consumer intelligence, the category we created and still lead, which changes the kind of conversation you get to have
  • Serious enterprise brands at a company eighteen years in, with enough scale for the work to matter
  • A direct line to the VP of Brand Sales. No layers between you and the decision
  • Remote first, real flexibility. HQ is in Reston, VA, with occasional on-site time and travel so you're in the room with your clients
  • Good work is visible here and it compounds
  • The work has receipts. More than $100M invested in the prediction infrastructure, predictions that have beaten a global entertainment brand's own loyalty data, a challenger beverage brand past 400% sales growth in a year against the biggest names in its category, and a 20% sales lift for a consumer software company personalizing its site in real time

Compensation & Benefits

At Resonate you'll work with smart, down-to-earth people on AI-powered data and identity products that are changing how the marketing industry works. We pair that with pay and benefits built to support you at work and outside of it. There's a lot more about life at Resonate on our careers site, take a look.

The base salary range for this role is $110,000-$150,000, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $175,000-$215,000, which combines base salary and commission at 100% of target. Where an offer lands within the range depends on your experience, skills, qualifications, and location. OTE reflects expected earnings at target and is not guaranteed.

Resonate also offers a benefits package that includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, including HSA
  • Company-paid disability and life insurance with a life insurance buy-up option

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
