We are seeking an Account Manager based in Los Angeles to support a portfolio of Broadway, touring, and arts & culture clients across the West Coast.

This role will serve as the day-to-day client lead for a dedicated group of theatre and live entertainment accounts, working closely with an East Coast-based Account Director who will provide senior strategic oversight. You will help keep client work moving smoothly, ensure campaigns are coordinated across internal teams, and translate performance into clear, action-focused reporting and recommendations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of client service, digital marketing, theatre, and live entertainment; and who is excited to help shape SINE Digital’s growing West Coast presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Leadership & Communication

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of approximately eight theatre, touring, and arts & culture accounts.
  • Build strong, responsive relationships with clients across West Coast markets.
  • Lead day-to-day communication, status updates, scheduling, meeting follow-ups, and issue resolution.
  • Lead client calls and planning meetings alongside the Account Director, who will provide strategic support.
  • Translate client needs into clear internal briefs, actions, timelines, and priorities.
  • Proactively surface opportunities, risks, and recommendations to clients and internal teams.

Campaign & Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Liaise between clients and SINE’s Media, Data & Insights, SEO, Tech, and Account teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Partner closely with the Los Angeles-based Media Planner supporting the same regional client portfolio.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, dependencies, asset needs, approvals, and handoffs.
  • Help ensure campaigns are launched accurately, optimized responsibly, and communicated clearly.
  • Support smoother workflows across clients operating in Pacific and Central time zones.

Reporting & Insights

  • Draft weekly and campaign-specific performance reports in partnership with Media and Data & Insights teams.
  • Use SINE’s custom reporting app and bespoke Looker Studio dashboards where needed.
  • Pull, review, and validate campaign data across platforms and dashboards, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, DV360, and Google Analytics.
  • QA reporting for anomalies, pacing deviations, tracking issues, spend discrepancies, creative flags, and data inconsistencies.
  • Translate campaign performance into clear, concise, client-friendly insights.
  • Help clients understand what happened, why it happened, and what should happen next.

Budget, Pacing & Performance Support

  • Support media teams in maintaining visibility into budget pacing, spend forecasts, and campaign performance.
  • Help flag discrepancies or pacing concerns early so they can be addressed quickly.
  • Maintain client-facing clarity around spend versus plan, campaign progress, and optimization priorities.
  • Support action-focused recommendations tied to ticket sales, CPA, ROAS, engagement, and other key performance indicators.

Strategy & Account Support

  • Work closely with the Account Director in drafting briefs, campaign plans, audience recommendations, meeting agendas, and strategic POVs.
  • Contribute to strategic recommendations across campaign planning, audience development, creative testing, reporting, and optimization.
  • Maintain client documentation, meeting notes, account trackers, onboarding materials, and asset logs.
  • Manage onboarding for new accounts, new campaigns, and expanded scopes.
  • Bring an understanding of Broadway tours, theatre marketing, and live entertainment audience behavior into day-to-day client work.

Quality, Process & Operations

  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, checklists, QA protocols, and reporting standards.
  • Maintain and improve documentation, workflows, templates, and account delivery materials.
  • Help identify process improvements that make client delivery smoother and more consistent.
  • Play a key role in the development of SINE’s West Coast client service model as the regional team grows.

Industry Knowledge

  • Maintain and develop an understanding of the industries you and SINE work with, including key players and external agencies.
  • Produce regular industry insights and client case studies to further educate the team and clients on industry learnings, insights and benchmarks.
  • Keep abreast of changes in the California and broader US media landscape
  • Embody a passion for the sectors in which SINE operates, with a professional curiosity and knowledge of new and emerging businesses and producing talent.
  • Represent SINE at various industry conferences and events, building the company’s presence and network.
  • Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster team expertise.

ABOUT YOU

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, client services, digital marketing, or a related agency-side role.
  • You have experience managing client-facing digital advertising campaigns.
  • You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple accounts, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently with clients and internal teams.
  • You can spot issues early, escalate appropriately, and keep work moving without needing constant direction.
  • You are analytical enough to interpret campaign performance, identify trends, and contribute actionable recommendations.
  • You have a strong QA mindset and care about accuracy, clarity, and follow-through.
  • You are collaborative by default and comfortable working across departments.
  • You have experience in theatre, Broadway tours, live entertainment, venues, or arts & culture marketing.

BENEFITS

  • $70,000- $90,000, dependent on experience
  • Generous PTO allowance per year
  • Access to 401(K) Retirement Plan
  • Access to Company subsidised healthcare and dental care
  • Occasional free tickets to live events
  • Structured personal development, a customised training program and opportunities to attend industry conferences
  • Opportunities to help further shape the business culture and agency benefits.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
