The Account Manager (AM) will be responsible to develop the strategy to grow Genetec major end users as well as identify new high potential end user.

Your day at a glance:

  • Develop relationships with existing and prospective end-user clients and be the voice of Genetec within these accounts
  • Understand the end-user business, its various stakeholders as well as their budgeting and purchase decision making processes
  • Work with the product marketing group to ensure that requirements are understood, considered and part of the new product planning process
  • Promote and sell new services and products within the accounts
  • Become proficient in positioning the capabilities of Genetec products relative to high potential end user needs
  • Provide product demonstrations to help end user prospects understand how Genetec products will meet their needs
  • Uncover customer needs, respond to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFQ’s), prepare quotes and write proposals
  • Keep sales and management up to date on account activity, trends and sales leads
  • Cooperate with the Regional Sales Managers to develop account strategies, coverage and follow-up
  • Coordinate end user training as needed
  • Manage forecasts and achieve quotas
  • Monitor and report satisfaction levels
  • Update and maintain data in CRM or other applications
  • Acquire, maintain and report adequate knowledge of product, market and competition

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business, MBA would be an asset
  • High-technology sales experience, preferably in dealing with large accounts
  • Ability to work in a complex sales environment at all levels
  • Ability to influence and leverage company management and key contributors to attain goals
  • Understanding of large-company business practices
  • Ability to influence multiple decision makers in committee decision situations
  • Excellent communicator in writing or face-to-face
  • IP/IT technology and network infrastructure and cloud experience
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships customers
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate with customers at the C-Suite level
  • Able to work independently in a fast-pace environment, with the ability to make decisions in an efficient manner
  • Team player
  • Strong technical understanding of networks and security industry as well as in access control
  • Proven sales achievement/track record
