Jump Advisor AI - Velocity Account Manager

About the Role

The Velocity Account Manager owns a high-volume book of SMB RIA accounts and is fully accountable for GRR, NRR, and expansion across that book. This is a quota-carrying role where commercial instinct is the differentiator: you know how to work a large book efficiently, stay ahead of risk, and find expansion.

You will operate in a fast-moving, signal-rich environment. The expectation is that you use every tool available to cover more ground without sacrificing quality. The right person for this role gets energized by commercial targets and builds systems that make them more effective over time.

What You'll Own

Book and Quota

  • Own GRR, NRR, and expansion quota across a book of 100-200+ Velocity RIA accounts

  • Execute value realization, renewal, and save motions proactively

  • Identify and close upsell and expansion opportunities within your book

  • Maintain clean pipeline and accurate forecasting in Salesforce; your forecast should reflect reality, not optimism

Customer Engagement

  • Run proactive outreach cadences tied to lifecycle triggers and usage signals

  • Deliver customer interactions that are prepared, specific, and move the relationship forward

  • Maintain product depth across Jump's core features and roadmap so you are the most knowledgeable person in the room

About You

  • You are commercially wired: retention is the floor, expansion is the goal

  • You run a tight operation - organized, consistent, never lets an account go dark

  • You use data and signals to prioritize

  • You communicate clearly and get to the point; you do not over-explain

  • You are an active user of AI tools and bring that into how you manage your book

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and move fast in a startup environment

What You've Done

  • 2-4 years of quota-carrying experience in account management, sales, or customer success at a B2B SaaS company

  • Owned a high-volume book with measurable GRR, NRR, or expansion targets - and hit them

  • Used data and usage signals to prioritize accounts and time outreach, not just a calendar reminder

  • Built or executed scalable engagement playbooks in a high-velocity environment

  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve output quality, account coverage, or engagement efficiency

  • Used Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage pipeline and forecast accurately

  • Bonus: Experience in fintech, wealthtech, or financial services; familiarity with RIAs or broker-dealers

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: $100,000-$140,000 OTE | 75/25 base/variable split (Base range: $75,000 - $105,000)

  • Medical, dental, vision benefits

  • 401k available

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
