The Account Manager, Specialty Lines is responsible for driving engagement and utilization across existing healthcare facility contracts, with a focus on maintaining and growing smaller accounts while continuing to expand overall client relationships. This role focuses on generating staffing demand, growing and reactivating accounts, and ensuring facilities consistently rely on our services to meet their workforce needs. Success in this position requires strong relationship management, proactive outreach, and the ability to turn opportunities into active staffing requests while building long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage and grow a group of small accounts by building strong relationships, spotting opportunities to expand services, and driving thoughtful upsell and cross-sell conversations
  • Proactively cold call dormant and inactive accounts to reintroduce our services, uncover new opportunities, and win back business
  • Cultivate and maintain valuable relationships with current clients
  • Reach out to prospective and existing facilities by phone, email, and in person to drive utilization of existing contracts and secure active staffing requisitions
  • Manage a high volume of activity in a fast paced environment while maintaining urgency and follow through
  • Ensure the satisfaction of our client facilities through proactively meeting their staffing needs
  • Persistently generate client leads through strategic planning and referrals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency
  • Negotiate contracts with healthcare facilities resulting in mutually beneficial terms
  • Take initiative in professional development and continuously look for ways to improve performance and results

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree (direct industry experience can be substituted)
  • Proven success in a metrics driven environment
  • Client centered mentality and passion for customer service
  • Ability to relate to a variety of people and sustain meaningful relationships
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and take initiative to satisfy them
  • Strong motivation to achieve results and meet goals       
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency

  • Aya provides paid sick leave in accordance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws. Aya’s general sick leave policy is that employees accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. However, to the extent any provisions of the statement above conflict with any applicable paid sick leave laws, the applicable paid sick leave laws are controlling

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $33.65 hourly, which equates to $70,000 annually plus commission
