The Role

We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Account Manager, SMB to help drive the growth and expansion of our current customer base! As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities for customers unlock additional value from their CompanyCam subscription - whether through adding users or upgrading to a higher tier. Partnering closely with our Customer Success Managers, you’ll identify accounts with expansion potential and lead conversations to convert those opportunities into revenue. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, working directly with customers to understand their business goals, provide tailored solutions, and ensure they’re getting the most out of our platform. We value a fun, fast-paced environment and are searching for individuals who thrive on building relationships and contributing to our growing success.

Location: Employees are not required to work in the office or relocate to Lincoln, Nebraska, for this opportunity. Employees are encouraged to come hang at headquarters for up to 10 days per calendar year on CompanyCam’s dime.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the growth and expansion of our current customer base by identifying and securing upsell opportunities.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of upgrading to a higher tier or adding more users to enhance their experience with CompanyCam.
  • Proactively meet with customers to understand their current processes and identify business challenges.
  • Perform product demos to showcase features and solutions to potential customers.
  • Partner with CSM’s to identify growth opportunities within accounts.
  • Create a pipeline of opportunities and maintain reliable forecasts to ensure consistent growth.
  • Listen to customer feedback to help inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Support customer inquiries regarding their accounts, collaborating with CSMs to ensure customers are educated on how to best utilize our platform.
What You'll Bring
  • 1+ of experience in account management, sales, and customer success, or a similar revenue-generating roles.
  • Experience in SaaS or a technology preferred, particularly if you’ve worked with a high volume of SMB accounts.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships and effectively convey product value.
  • The ability to prioritize value over features, always focusing on how your solution will solve customer challenges and meet their needs.
  • The ability to close deals and ask for commitment from customers with confidence.
  • A growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
  • A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.
Benefits & Compensation

This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our starting salary range is $50,000 - $60,000 per year and is based on experience. Our average on target earnings (OTE) are around $80,000 - $90,000, with uncapped commission. We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
