Join Us in Transforming Childcare Through Technology

At Wonderschool, we’re on a mission to revolutionize early education by leveraging cutting-edge technology to empower childcare providers and expand access to high-quality childcare. Headquartered in San Francisco, we operate at the intersection of tech, early education, and social impact, building innovative solutions that drive success for providers and the families they serve.

We’re looking for a tech-savvy, results-driven Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with government agencies and nonprofit partners, ensuring seamless implementation of our platform while maximizing value for childcare providers. If you thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative tech environment and want to make a tangible impact, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Own Key Partnerships – Serve as the primary point of contact for government and nonprofit clients, driving long-term success through strategic relationship management.
  • Leverage Data for Growth – Use insights from platform analytics to optimize performance, track contract outcomes, and recommend high-impact improvements.
  • Fuel Expansion & Monetization – Identify opportunities to enhance platform adoption, monetize providers, and maximize revenue streams, including upselling additional services and driving account growth.
  • Maximize Revenue Streams – Develop and implement strategies to create new revenue opportunities, ensuring both providers and the company benefit from sustainable monetization efforts.
  • Manage Renewals with Confidence – Proactively engage partners to renew contracts seamlessly, ensuring sustained impact and continued platform engagement.
  • Solve Challenges at Scale – Act as a problem-solver, troubleshooting issues quickly and aligning solutions with both partner and company objectives.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work alongside engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth integration and an exceptional user experience.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, consulting, or client success—preferably in SaaS, marketplace platforms, or tech-enabled services.
  • A strategic, revenue-driven mindset with a track record of growing accounts, monetizing providers, and driving platform adoption.
  • Exceptional communication & negotiation skills – you build trust, influence stakeholders, and thrive in high-stakes conversations.
  • Tech fluency – you’re comfortable working with data dashboards, CRM tools, and digital platforms to track and drive success.
  • Project management expertise – you can juggle multiple initiatives, ensuring clients stay engaged and contracts move forward smoothly.
  • A data-first approach to decision-making, using insights to identify trends and optimize performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, technology, or a related field.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Comprehensive Benefits – 100% employee healthcare coverage + 80% for dependents.
  • Work-Life Balance – Flexible PTO, mental wellness days, and paid holidays.
  • Parental Leave – Generous policies after six months.
  • Tech Perks – Reimbursements for Wi-Fi, wellness, and co-working spaces.
  • Collaborative Culture – A fast-moving, high-impact tech environment where your contributions shape the future of childcare.
  • San Francisco Office – Work on-site three days a week for deep collaboration and connection with the team.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
