Account Manager, Sales Strategy & Client Services

Description

Adprime by Newsweek is seeking a passionate & motivated Account Manager to join the growing Sales Strategy & Client Services team. This role will be responsible for overseeing their own book of businesses which includes the development and management of client relationships, digital media campaigns and requests for proposals (RFPs). The Account Manager will be responsible for assisting Sales with closing new business, growing and retaining existing accounts, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. This role will be the liaison between internal cross functional teams and our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who excels well with independence, enjoys collaboration, and most importantly, has a strong desire to help our clients succeed. This role will be instrumental in helping to grow and maintain Adprime’s account list.

Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Responsible for the management of digital media campaigns – including display, mobile/tablet, OTT, pre-roll video, lead generation and custom sponsorships
  • Must proactively manage all accounts by closely monitoring daily delivery metrics, providing clients with optimization recommendations, ensuring campaigns meet KPIs, and securing incremental budgets and renewals
  • Work closely with Ad Ops & Publisher Development Teams to analyze campaign performance metrics and develop optimization strategies
  • Help problem-solve and troubleshoot when issues arise; must be able to work collaboratively to identify and solve a problem
  • Develop robust reporting for assigned campaigns while proactively sending Clients performance updates
  • Assist Sales with upselling new or existing products to clients
  • Manage DSP clients, build relationships, problem-solve and assist with growing the account

Planning

  • Help respond to RFPs; develop media strategy & create Excel and PowerPoint proposals
  • Able to dissect a brand’s brief and align client goals with Adprime offerings
  • Leverage DMPs to identify segments and forecast inventory for proposals
  • Work with the Publisher Development Team to request avails and develop site lists
  • Help build and manage 1st party data segment library
  • Collaborate with 3rd party data providers to identify relevant segments and forecast scale and inventory

Desired Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital media (planning and/or campaign management) – managed service and DSP/exchange experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adhere to deadlines, and solve problems
  • Team player who is positive, hard-working, and who has a can-do attitude
  • Strong communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze data and clearly communicate findings
  • Forward thinking with a client satisfaction mindset
  • Programmatic experience and/or prior experience in healthcare advertising is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically with strengths in Excel and PowerPoint
  • BA/BS required

 

Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000
