Account Manager - Podcasters

Los Angeles, CA or Boston, MA (Hybrid/In-Person)

RedCircle is a podcast monetization platform, providing a first-of-its-kind, fully-automated podcast advertising solution. With our ad platform, RAP, advertisers can execute high-scale / high-performance podcast media buys on hundreds of shows in just a few clicks. For podcast creators, RAP provides important revenue and a streamlined system for managing complex ad deals. In short, RedCircle is about getting podcasters paid — while helping advertisers grow through podcast ads.

We’re looking for a Podcast Account Manager to join our team, focusing on podcaster support, onboarding, and long-term success. In this role, you’ll work closely with creators to ensure they have a smooth onboarding experience, their information is up to date, and their campaigns run effectively. You’ll be the go-to point of contact for podcasters — answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and keeping them engaged with the RedCircle platform.

This position is based in Los Angeles or Boston and follows a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week in the office).

Core Responsibilities

  • Guide new podcasters through the onboarding process, including initial account setup, billing connection, and introduction to RedCircle tools.
  • Conduct regular platform audits to ensure show eligibility and to keep creator information up to date..
  • Respond promptly and effectively to podcaster support needs, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Schedule calls with creators as needed to address delivery, inventory, or technical issues.
  • Manage the podcast application process and proactively review new submissions for quality and eligibility.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to creators when needed by the sales or account management team.
  • Send initial welcome communications with resources, FAQs, and next steps for new shows.
  • Conduct routine check-ins to review campaign performance, fill rates, and ensure continued platform alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and improve podcaster experience.
  • Assist with the annual NPS survey to gather podcaster feedback and identify opportunities for platform and customer support improvement.

Who You Are

  • Has 3–5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or client-facing roles, ideally in digital media, podcasting, or advertising.
  • Is highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts at once.
  • Brings strong communication skills — via email, phone, and video calls — and can build rapport quickly.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is proactive in identifying and solving problems.
  • Is comfortable with technical tools and data, with the ability to interpret and explain campaign performance metrics.
  • Lives in Los Angeles or Boston (or is willing to relocate) and can work 2-3 days per week in-office.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
