What is the role?

Intersection is seeking a proactive, collaborative and self-motivated Account Manager to join our sales team in New York. You will drive engagement and grow revenue via direct collaboration with clients, by understanding their marketing needs, offering out-of-the-box solutions and managing the seamless execution of campaigns. Responsibilities will include media planning/pitching, undertaking competitive analysis, overseeing the RFP process, completing post-campaign reports, and collaborating with internal teams. The Account Manager will oversee their own book of business, and also become an expert on our street banner media helping on the post sale process.


What you will accomplish:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with brands & agencies to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Lead campaign kickoff calls reviewing all campaign details and requirements
  • Take a consultative approach in shaping campaign creative and targeting to best meet client KPIs and ensure efficiency - before, during, and after campaign
  • Creating media proposals and being an expert on our media
  • Coordinate campaign deliverables to ensure they are compliant with requirements
  • Work with Ad Operations to ensure quality and timely campaign launches
  • Proactive collaboration with AE’s to identify & grow account revenue
  • Interface with 3rd party vendors (research, analytics, data feed, etc.) as needed
  • Develop interim and final campaign reports, identify and highlight key insights, and support campaign wrap-up reporting requests
  • Research and identify solutions to increase spend for under pacing accounts while pitching existing Partners new packages / market developments
  • Lead client meeting preparation liaising with internal teams to ensure top notch meeting deliverables; attend client meetings
  • Strategize with cross functional teams on new development initiatives
  • Develop new business via contract extensions and upsells (reactive & proactive) 
  • Manage Salesforce reporting for agency and client accounts
  • Work closely with internal partnership and sales teams on post sale process for NYC street banners
  • Manage all campaigns (proactive & reactive) under a revenue threshold


You're a great fit for this role because:

  • 3-4 years relevant work experience in a customer-facing customer success, account management or strategic consulting organization.
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Enjoy collaborating with people to get work done, but know when to take ownership of a task.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accountability for both your work/the work of your team.

Total Compensation: $70,000 - 85,000 OTE


Hybrid Work Policy: Our team operates on a hybrid schedule to balance flexibility with face-to-face collaboration. We require all employees to be in the office every Tuesday and Wednesday. Please note that starting in September, this requirement will transition to three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
