Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Manager to support our Account Directors in managing large (300+ employees) and complex client relationships. This role is pivotal in executing strategic initiatives, fostering strong client and broker relationships, and driving year-over-year retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Account Directors to implement client strategies and ensure successful outcomes.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers to support retention and growth.

  • Provide expert administrative support and guidance to client constituents.

  • Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to inform client decisions.

  • Monitor market trends and identify competitive opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

  • Participate in and/or lead client meetings as appropriate.

  • Partner with internal teams (underwriting, sales, operations, analytics, etc.) to ensure client needs are met.

Required Qualifications

- 4-6 Years of Industry Experience

- Strong understanding of health plan market (Group Health Insurance)

- Strong knowledge of Excel functionality for reporting and data analytics.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, TEAMs and PowerPoint

- Exceptional communication skills

- 20% Travel required

Preferred Qualifications

- Self-funded Health plan experience

- Experience working with public entities

- Health & Life Insurance License

- Bilingual (Spanish)

Education

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
