Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Thorough familiarity with the need of Department of Defense, FEMA, USPS, etc.
- Coordinate with the carrier team to manage the full lifecycle of shipments from pickup to delivery.
- Communicate effectively with logistics coordinators and carrier sales team members with respect to order needs, delivery times, customer requests, etc.
- Monitor shipment status, proactively communicate updates or delays, and resolve any service-related issues.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, focusing on retention and revenue growth.
- Work closely with carrier partners to ensure capacity, compliance, and performance standards.
- Analyze client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Track KPIs and service metrics; prepare and present regular performance reports to clients and management.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding service offerings within current accounts.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and industry regulations specific to vehicle transport.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry for all orders, load details, client information, and shipment updates into TMS, CRM, and internal databases.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics procedures.
- Well versed in all modes of transportation with core focus on Government Agency freight
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
