Own and grow gaming account relationships by driving renewals, upsells, and NRR. Serve as client strategist, demonstrate ROI, liaise between customers and product/engineering, and identify expansion opportunities.
The Account Director, Gaming will manage and own the entire customer journey for our gaming accounts. This role is responsible for building strong client relationships, driving revenue growth through upsells, and ensuring renewals, these will be core KPIs. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong self-motivation, and a genuine passion for gaming.
Base Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
On top of the base salary, this role also includes a variable component with uncapped commission.
Experience we are looking for:
- Manage business and grow Net Revenue Retention (NRR) by managing renewals and upsells.
- Have c-level discussions with customers and work on strategizing their use cases with our platform.
- Demonstrate measurable ROI on clients’ investment in our products by hosting quarterly business review.
- Proactively understand the clients’ business to provide competitive insights and trends.
- Collaborate with global product, engineering and other technical teams to improve our product offerings.
- Follow industry trends and interpret these into day-to-day business impact.
- Understand the product development cycle, being able to communicate between product teams and customers effectively to - manage expectations on feature requests and releases.
- Identify product penetration, renewal, and upsell opportunities within the managed customer base.
Experience and skills that you can bring:
- Must demonstrate the ability to both drive revenue growth (upsell/expand) and build long-term, trusted client relationships.
- Required knowledge of the mobile, PC, or console gaming ecosystem; expertise in all three is a major plus.
- Experience in SaaS sales as an Account Executive or Account Manager.A genuine passion for the gaming industry, whether as an active gamer or through professional experience.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS industry and digital ecosystem.
- Ability to identify product penetration, renewal, and upsell opportunities within the managed customer base.
- Ability to present complex data solutions in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical.
