Your Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Enterprise Sales team. This role will focus on driving growth in the medical device sector, with a particular emphasis on ultrasound solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise-level accounts, building long-term customer relationships, and executing strategic sales plans that align with the company’s goals.
This is a remote role with up to 30 percent travel. While California is where much of the business is conducted, we encourage applicants from across the Western US
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new enterprise-level opportunities within hospitals, health systems, B2B and Distribution relationships.
- Sales Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for handheld ultrasound product lines.
- Account Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with decision-makers (procurement teams, B2B partnerships, C-suite executives)
- Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations, including multi-year agreements, pricing models, and partnership structures.
- Collaboration: Partner with clinical specialists, marketing, and product teams to deliver compelling demos, proposals, and value-based selling approaches.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, CRM updates, and regular business reviews with leadership.
- Partnership Development
- Pharmaceutical Partnerships: Collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to integrate ultrasound solutions into clinical trials, drug delivery programs, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Distribution Partners: Identify and manage relationships with distributors and channel partners to expand market access and accelerate adoption.
- Educational Partners: Partner with universities, teaching hospitals, and training organizations to embed ultrasound into medical education and continuous learning programs.
- Explore co-marketing and co-education opportunities that strengthen the brand and drive adoption.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle; travel up to 30% may be required
Your Experience So Far:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- 3-5 years of successful capital imaging equipment, software, or clinical sales experience, preferably with Enterprise or government accounts
- Experience with high-value, complex sales cycles
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Experience with sales quotas, forecasting, and a track record of exceeding sales goals
- Understanding of the ultrasound and medical imaging industry and basic clinical knowledge of anatomy, is a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to develop strategic client partnerships
- Proficiency in computer skills and experience with Salesforce CRM
- Ability to work independently while following strategic guidelines in specific markets
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
Location and Compensation:
This is a remote role with up to 30 percent travel. While California is where much of the business is conducted, we encourage applicants from across the Western US
The role offers a base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 + commission + bonus.
