About the role
As an Account Executive on the US sales team, you will serve as a trusted advisor for prospects and customers, working with them through the entire buying process — from initial evaluation to close — and through the onboarding of their full team while acting as their primary point of contact. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on enterprise manufacturing businesses every day.

- Effectively manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound opportunities to consistently drive revenue and deliver strong ROI for customers.
- Become an expert in assessing the IIoT use case of each prospect, customizing your approach based on company size, industry, and desired outcomes.
- Proactively report learnings and valuable product feedback to the product team to drive improvements and prioritize the right initiatives.
- Develop a deep knowledge of Factbird's evolving product and understand the nuances of how it can be applied to different customer situations.
- Take ownership of must-win battles for the year and drive them forward with conviction.
What we’re looking for
- A top performer in an enterprise market sales role with 3+ years of experience closing net new logos—SaaS or hardware experience is a bonus.
- Experience in selling manufacturing software solutions.
- A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales quota, and the ability to articulate how you got there.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a genuine focus on winning and helping customers achieve their goals.
- Ability to apply consultative and team-selling strategies in a competitive market.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Experience tracking sales activity in a CRM — HubSpot experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC — preferred but not required.
- Comfortable wearing several hats: sales, support, customer success, and internal mobiliser.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build your own territory business and hit quarterly and annual goals.
