Sell Highwire's contractor-success platform by sourcing and closing new business, managing a pipeline, building executive relationships, expanding accounts with upsells/cross-sells, and partnering cross-functionally to drive revenue and long-term customer success.
The summary above was generated by AI

Highwire, a Veriforce company, is the Contractor Success Platform for asset owners, general contractors, and facilities managers. The world’s most admired organizations — including Skanska, Merck, and Bond Brothers — use Highwire to ensure their contractors and subcontractors deliver great work, on budget and on schedule, by collaborating with them to dynamically mitigate safety, financial, quality, and sustainability risks during capital projects and facilities maintenance.

As an Account Executive at Highwire, your job is to find and close new business. You’ll identify high-potential accounts, build your own pipeline, and introduce prospective customers to a better way of managing contractor risk. You’ll focus on helping owners and builders understand how Highwire can improve safety, reduce risk, and streamline operations. This role is about more than hitting quota—it’s about helping grow the company by bringing new logos into the business and setting them up for long-term success.

What you’ll do:

  • Hit revenue targets by closing new business and expanding existing accounts through up-sells and cross-sells.
  • Build and manage pipeline by proactively sourcing leads, qualifying prospects, and managing deals from first touch to close.
  • Develop executive relationships with key stakeholders, establishing trust and credibility that supports long-term growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally to shape and strengthen sales strategy, refine messaging, and ensure alignment with company goals.

Who you are:

  • Prepared and strategic, tailoring every interaction and follow-up to move deals forward with focus and intent.
  • Curious and coachable, eager to understand industries, clients, and feedback, and turn that insight into better outcomes.
  • Money-motivated and competitive, with a relentless drive to exceed goals and push through obstacles.
  • Self-sufficient, owning deals end-to-end and thriving in environments where initiative and independence are essential.
  • Calm under pressure, with the speed and clarity to manage shifting inputs without losing momentum.

Benefits:

Our benefits go well beyond the basics. To support your work-life integration, we built a benefits program that takes care of the whole person, including physical, mental, financial, and emotional health.

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance. We offer health, dental, and vision insurance to all full-time employees. Best part? You’ll be eligible on day one.
  • 401k. We offer a 401k and a 3% company contribution (even better than a match) to help you get ready to retire no matter how far off that seems.
  • Parental leave. We take care of new parents by offering paid time off for births, adoptions, and fostering.
  • Flexible PTO. Our culture of trust and measurement means there’s no limit on time off, just an expectation of performance.
  • Mentorship. Our office-based culture fosters meaningful learning, growth, and mentorship for our team.

At Highwire, our approach to compensation is simple: we hire exceptional people and pay them well.

For this sales role, the On Target Earnings (OTE) are provided below. However, where you land within this range will be determined by several factors, such as your skills, experience, and how you perform against targets. Our commission plans are designed to reward your hard work and impact, and with uncapped potential, there's room to exceed expectations if you thrive. So, while most people typically fall within this range in their first year, for those who excel, the sky's the limit.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
