Job Description

Account Executive

The Account Executive oversees end-to-end strategic account relationships, engages C-level decision-makers, and supports sales and deal execution by identifying growth opportunities, developing targeted solutions, and guiding new business ventures. They analyze customer price targets and competitive offerings to align pricing and commercial strategies with market conditions, review business plans and project feasibility, and nurture senior‑level relationships to ensure strategic alignment and successful outcomes.
 

Your role:

  • Owns the relationship with Strategic Accounts to ensure seamless communication, rapid issue resolution, and alignment of services with client needs to drive long-term satisfaction and growth.

  • Defines and communicates the value proposition, identifies new opportunities and growth areas, and demonstrates solution benefits to expand market presence.

  • Engages senior decision‑makers, coordinates cross‑functional deal execution, acts as opportunity owner, and leverages company tools to deliver targeted software and service solutions.

  • Analyzes pricing targets, competitive landscape, contract status, install base and feasibility of projects; updates CRM and builds a robust growth funnel with actionable recommendations.

  • Coaches the account team, integrates customer business and technology plans, ensures strategic alignment across stakeholders, and enforces Philips’ processes, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Marketing, Data Analytics or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in areas such as Customer Relationship Management, Sales and Business Development, Service Delivery Management, Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.

  • Proven track record managing account teams and selling into large, high‑potential accounts with complex, multi‑decision‑maker sales cycles to drive substantial revenue and market‑share growth.

  • Skilled at initiating deep, consultative conversations that educate clients on products, industry trends, and business challenges, while sparking new ideas and positioning innovative solutions.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field-based role.

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $269,250 to $306,000, annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
