The Account Executive will generate advertising revenue by selling KTLA's digital advertising products, developing new business opportunities, and managing client relationships with effective campaigns and reporting.
Job Title: KTLA Account Executive
The Sales Account Executive generates advertising revenue primarily through developing new prospects and selling potential clients the merits of KTLA’s digital/linear advertising.
- Experience in digital marketing (omni channel multi-platform), with a focus on Video, Display, social media, or email marketing (typically 1-3 years).
- Sell digital TV advertising products across OTT, CTV, Amazon DSP, streaming platforms, and programmatic inventory.
- Experience with digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and other marketing platforms.
- Create customized advertising solutions including display, video, branded content, sponsorships, and station integrations.
- Collaborate with sales support, marketing, and creative teams to develop effective campaigns that deliver measurable results.
- Monitor campaign performance, provide clients with reporting and insights, and optimize campaigns to ensure success.
- Proactively identifies and develops multi-platform new business opportunities.
- Support/advise customers in specific types of advertising and how we can help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.
- Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients.
Requirements & Skills:
- Digital marketing expertise (OTT, Display, social media, email marketing & Amazon DSP)
- Experience with Freewheel and Google ad manager a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project management and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Solution oriented
Compensation - $70,000 + commission
