THE COMPANY

Guidewheel is on a mission to empower all the world’s factories to reach sustainable peak performance. Inspired by the simple, universal truth that every machine on the factory floor has a power cord, our plug-and-play FactoryOps platform makes the power of the cloud accessible to any factory. Guidewheel clips onto any machine to turn its real-time “heartbeat” into a connected, actively learning system that empowers teams to reduce lost production time, increase throughput, and perform better and better over time.At Guidewheel we work with the factories that are the backbone of our economy, and you can have a real, on-the-ground impact right away. We have strong momentum and alignment around our mission, investor support, and a culture that values diversity, growth mindset, and results. And the tight link between our mission and our business model means that reaching more of the world’s 10 million factories accelerates our positive impact on the planet.

The Guidewheel team shares the following values:

  • Integrity matters: We are honest, straightforward and sincere. With each other. With our investors. With our customers
  • We (actually) care: About each other. About fighting climate change. About making a real impact
  • We use data to make decisions: We possess the courage to accept “hard truths” and confront challenges head-on
  • The power of growth mindset is real: We strive to be the best we can be; to achieve this we are committed to embracing change and expanding our capabilities

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Mid-Market Account Executive Team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive a land and expand sales motion, securing initial wins and growing accounts over time.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.
  • Own your pipeline creation as a prolific pipeline builder, leveraging BDRs, partners, and self-sourcing.
  • Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Become a product expert and develop strong knowledge of the manufacturing domain.
  • Multi-thread sales engagements across diverse personas, from individual contributors to C-level executives.

Who we want:

  • 3–5 years of SaaS sales experience closing deals with ACV ≥ $50K (software + hardware experience a plus).
  • Experience selling in the manufacturing industry.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proven success in land and expand sales motions.
  • Skilled at competing against better-known competitors and legacy solutions
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

What's in it for you?

  • Grow with a team that believes developing talent is important, and is building that as a core strength of the company from day one.
  • Be a leader in the organization, leading the way for future sales hires and mentoring junior team members as they join.
  • Have influence and impact on the full sales cycle, from Discovery, Scoping, Close and Handoff to Customer Experience.
  • Work with a team of international talent.

Additional benefits include:

  • Fair & equitable pay. Annual base salary for this role ranges from $85,000 -$100,000, and the on-target-earnings for this role range from $170,000-$200,000. The total on-target-earnings are dependent on many factors, including seniority level, location, and our internal compensation and bands.
  • 100% remote culture. Work from wherever, whenever - we hired you to get a job done, and as long as that is happening, you have the autonomy to get it done where and when you feel comfortable.
  • Flexible PTO policy. We value balance and boundaries. To be the best version of you, you need time away from your screen, so we want you to take it.
  • Generous equity. Everyone at Guidewheel receives equity in the business. You will be working hard to build something great, and when we reach the finish line, you should be rewarded for your hard work.
  • Health Benefits. We offer different health benefits to cover your personal needs from day one of employment - you pick the plan that makes the most sense to you.
  • Additional Perks. Included but not limited to, 401k (match up to 4%), parental leave, company laptop, retirement plan, & paid company holidays.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
