This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Be part of the fast-growing team at GoDaddy Corporate Domains, the corporate registrar within the GoDaddy family. We are looking to hire an experienced, hardworking and results-driven Account Executive to join our team.   


What you'll get to do...

As an Account Executive at GoDaddy Corporate Domains, you’ll play a key role in driving growth by opening doors, building trust, and closing strategic deals with some of the world’s most well-known companies. This is a consultative, high-impact sales role where you’ll work with stakeholders across Legal, Marketing, and IT to deliver value through our domain portfolio management solutions.  

We’re looking for a high-performing, self-driven Account Executive who thrives in complexity, brings hustle to the table, is comfortable on the phone, on virtual meetings, or in person, and knows how to guide enterprise customers from first conversation to closed deal. You’ll be responsible for generating new business relationships, owning the full sales cycle, and executing creative sales solutions that help prospective customers understand how we can uniquely solve their problems.  

You should have strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for helping global brands protect and optimize their digital presence. Internally and externally, your focus will be on earning trust, exceeding expectations, and making GoDaddy Corporate Domains the most respected name in enterprise domain management.  

This role requires approximately 20% travel, primarily for in-person client meetings and industry events.  


Your experience should include...

  • 8+ years at a business development role, preferably at a software as a service company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to, and interacting with, senior level corporate individuals 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage to deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and great attention to detail
  • Experience selling to diverse stakeholder groups - from Legal and Brand Protection to IT and Marketing - and tailoring messaging to each audience
  • High energy, self-starting personality that works well in a start-up, fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate, or higher, level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to generate and qualify leads via phone, email, and in person
  • Developing subject matter expertise within the Corporate domain name space

  • Experience building strong relationships with prospects that aim to problem solve and share our expertise
  • Experience building and managing your pipeline in HubSpot
  • Strategic mindset that develops strategies for more effective business development efforts, and collaboration with the broader sales team
  • Positive business and customer relationship to maximize and to prolong customer longevity and lifetime value to the business
  • Ability to source and develop client referrals
  • Experience tracking personal appointments, status reports, and sales
  • Experience meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals
