We are looking for an Account Executive to identify opportunities with prospective customers and strategic target accounts. mySidewalk’s next Account Executive will require someone that loves navigating the new and selling market-leading technology.  This person will work closely with sales leadership to craft our message, iterate our sales process, and generate new business with disruptive technology in public and private sectors. Our future teammate will have a relentless pursuit of a challenging goal and work to develop partnerships internally and externally to drive new business. 

 The kind of problems you’ll help us solve:

  • How do we optimize our sales strategy to generate and expand opportunities within both the private and public sectors?
  • How can we expand our pipeline through outbound sales efforts?

How you’ll solve those problems:

  • Develop strategies for selling directly to customers.  
    • Perform in-depth prospect and industry research to create compelling business cases and RFP responses.
    • Sell our data storytelling platform within the assigned territory.
    • Create and implement a strategic territory plan focused on new customer acquisition.
    • Position, market and sell mySidewalk directly to end-customers.
  • Work closely with marketing to nurture leads and build pipeline. 
    • Develop an understanding of the industry trends and relevant business drivers in our industry.
    • Attendance and participation in trade shows and professional meetings.
  • Measure progress and improve processes of our internal systems.
    • Develop measurable goals to track and trend results on the overall plan and revenue opportunities.
    • Utilize our internal customer relationship management system and forecasting tools.

You’ll help us solve those problems if you:

  • Have previous experience with a value based sales, 'solution selling', target account sales, 'complex sales' or similar sales methodology.
  • Are tenacious about building and maintaining relationships, turning them into pipeline.
  • Have previous experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoominfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Persuade and influence, using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of thoughts, plans, activities, services and products.
  • Desire to independently interact with multi-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to C-level.
