Fortreum is seeking exceptional Account Executives to drive our continued growth in the cloud security and compliance market. This role combines consultative selling with technical acumen to help enterprises navigate complex cybersecurity and regulatory challenges. You'll work with multiple stakeholders to understand their unique needs and architect comprehensive solutions that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership for achieving revenue targets for new business and deliver accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
- Conduct deep discovery to understand clients' business challenges, regulatory requirements, and security needs
- Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-level and senior management within client organizations.
- Use data-driven insights to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and prioritize high-value opportunities
- Collaborate with our practice leads and leadership to design tailored solution proposals
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
- Ensure alignment with legal, finance, and operations teams to manage the sales cycle effectively and close deals in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed opportunity and pipeline data in CRM systems
Required Qualifications
- 6+ Years of Cybersecurity Sales Experience with proven metrics of achieving and/or exceeding quotas
- Prior experience selling cybersecurity services is a must
- Minimum of one relevant Cloud Security certification (CCSK, Security+, CySA+, etc). Additional certifications are highly desirable.
- Proven experience utilizing consultative sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC (Challenger Sale) to qualify opportunities and drive sales. Must be able to effectively articulate and apply the framework.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (or a similar leading CRM platform) for managing leads, tracking sales activities, and generating reports.
- Require demonstrable experience with relevant compliance frameworks like NIST, SOC 2, CMMC, HIPAA, or FedRAMP
- Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, primarily for domestic travel to client sites and industry events.
