Position Summary
Vector Media is searching for an Account Executive to join our Southern California team in a hybrid capacity. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role is an individual contributor sales position focused on proactively contacting companies and their decision-makers. The ideal candidate possesses a hunter mentality and excels at establishing and cultivating relationships through regular contact with prospective customers via phone calls, emails, and meetings. In this role, you will leverage Vector Media's unique asset offerings and delivery methodologies to position our company as the out-of-home (OOH) vendor of choice within our local markets. This position will predominantly focus on selling Vector's public transit advertising assets throughout Southern California.
Compensation Details: Base Salary $50,000 - $52,000 plus Signing Bonus and Commission.
The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education,
skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.

What You’ll Bring

  • We are seeking candidates with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets. A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience is required, demonstrating consistent growth and success in achieving quota.
  • OOH Sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience with complex sales cycles requiring multiple touchpoints within prospect companies.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage sales pipelines effectively.
  • Confident in proposal negotiations and comfortable working independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to travel for prospect visits and industry events, plus create and participate in networking opportunities.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with both clients and internal teams across pre/post-sales functions.
  • Proficiency in qualifying prospects and understanding how our products deliver specific value to potential clients.


What You’ll Do

  • Efficiently manage your time, accounts, and travel to maximize customer interactions through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain a minimum of 60 customer touchpoints weekly while prospecting for new clients and managing your personal sales pipeline.
  • Utilize Salesforce system diligently to track all sales activities and opportunities with detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate with creative teams and clients to develop effective advertising campaigns, working closely with Charting, Production, Operations, and Administrative staff to ensure timely ad delivery.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas while building a pipeline of at least 4x your monthly target.
  • Participate in invoice collection, weekly sales meetings, and regular team collaboration to ensure overall success.
