About The Role

As the Account Executive - HR Technology, you’ll expand Jawnt’s reach by building strong partnerships within the HR space, from HRIS partners to. benefits brokers. You’ll be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of clients, from prospecting to closing deals. This isn’t just another sales role—you’ll collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to shape our go-to-market strategy, raise brand awareness, and help bring transportation access to more people. What You’ll Do:

  • Own the full sales cycle: self-sourcing deals, managing target account lists, leading customer discovery and sales calls, negotiating and executing on contracts.
  • Develop and execute a playbook for HR partnerships sales at Jawnt, including creating sales materials and building connections in the HR space
  • Develop rich revenue-generating partnerships in the HR space – including HRIS platforms and marketplaces, benefits brokers, and other benefit providers
  • Leverage your existing relationships to manage and build a new pipeline of channel partners for Jawnt.
  • Manage established relationships and ensure partnerships are operating successfully
  • Work collaboratively with other sales team members at Jawnt to share insights and best practices.
  • Serve as the expert and leader on HR-led sales, setting the standard for our this line of sales.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in Sales: 3+ years of partner management experience at a high-growth SaaS company and/or 3+ years in the HR or benefits space, ideally with experience in commuter benefits or other pre-tax benefits
  • Proven closer: You have a track record of enterprise sales success and a deep understanding of the buying personas and transportation needs of enterprise organizations. Bonus points for experience in healthcare, higher education, or tech.
  • Self-starter: You’re comfortable building a book of business from scratch and thrive in ambiguity.
  • HR technology expert: You know the HR landscape inside and out and have a deep network, including HR buyers, HR platforms to benefits brokers.
  • People-person: Whether you’re attending events or pitching to decision-makers, you’re confident and comfortable getting in front of people.
  • Team player: You bring a growth mindset and are excited to collaborate across teams to help build and scale the company.
  • Mission-driven: You’re passionate about expanding transportation access and making a meaningful impact.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary: $100,000–$110,000
  • Commission on closed deals + quarterly bonus for sourcing new opportunities
  • Total estimated on-target earnings: $190,000–$210,000/year
  • Comprehensive benefits package: unlimited PTO, health and dental coverage, life insurance, 401k
  • $100/month transit credit on your Jawnt Pass
