Our client is a healthcare technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own new-business sales for a software platform from first outreach to signed contract, building your own pipeline along the way. You will also influence how the commercial team sells as it grows. The position carries a quota and involves regular in-person travel.
What you'll do
- Drive deals with mid-sized organizations from initial outreach through to signature.
- Generate your own opportunities, working alongside a sales development partner.
- Hold discovery meetings with operational, regulatory and budget decision makers and adapt your pitch to each audience.
- Travel about 30% of the time to trade shows, industry gatherings and face-to-face customer meetings.
- Shape the team's selling approach, lead qualification criteria and sales materials as the organization expands.
- Work toward a monthly target with incentive accelerators and reach full productivity in roughly two months.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- About 5 to 10 years of hands-on new-business selling with a track record of meeting targets.
- A history of selling technology products to organizations in the healthcare space.
- Experience in an early-stage or small company environment.
- Confidence presenting to both practitioner-side and financial leaders.
- Ability to create a sales process from scratch instead of following a fixed script.
- Willingness to travel roughly 30% of the time.
Bonus points
- Prior experience selling AI-enabled or clinical software.
- Understanding of healthcare records, billing and documentation processes.
- Working knowledge of a CRM and sales engagement tools.
