About Us

Stic is modernizing out-of-home, one of advertising's oldest formats. Billboards and transit ads have always sold impressions on faith. Stic replaces faith by turning everyday vehicles into GPS-tracked, mobile media. Brands get proof instead of best guesses. Drivers earn passive income on miles they're already driving.

Stic Vision is how it works. An edge AI device small enough to live inside a decal, streaming informative analytics with no vehicle-level integration required.

The global out-of-home advertising market is worth roughly $40 billion a year. Stic is building the measurement layer that legacy OOH never had.

Stic is trusted by brands like TikTok, Dunkin Donuts, e.l.f., and PacSun. The traction is already showing up in results: a SXSW campaign for TikTok Radio put 44 vehicles on the road in Austin and generated 3.9 million tracked impressions. That's real, revenue-generating proof in a category still mostly sold on assumptions.

Stic is lean by design. People joining now build the playbook rather than inheriting one. This means fast execution and explosive career growth, without the layers of process that slows things down at bigger companies.

About You

You're an entrepreneurial Los Angeles-based account executive ready to establish Stic as a leading mobile out-of-home advertising partner for major brands. You have a demonstrated history of winning net-new business or experience as a sales assistant or account manager who's partnered with senior account executives.

You thrive in fast-moving environments and are passionate about success. You're comfortable operating without a playbook. You are a clear, confident communicator and a natural rapport builder. In-person client meetings and presentations are part of your routine. You're comfortable building pipelines and relationships from scratch. You are a continuous learner, focused on delivering results and creating meaningful value for clients.

Ideally, you have experience within the OOH/DOOH industry. If you're new to our industry but have a track record of success and want to break in, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate new business and close deals that establish Stic as a go-to partner within OOH.

  • Personally lead sales efforts from prospecting through negotiation and close. This includes meeting prospects in person.

  • Build a strong pipeline of new business across brands and media agencies.

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.

  • Identify new opportunities and emerging trends within the U.S. advertising market.

  • Work closely with Stic's internal teams to bring our capabilities, data, and expertise to clients.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed ambitious revenue targets.

  • Represent Stic at client meetings and industry events.

  • Help shape Stic's sales playbook as the business grows.

What You’ll Need to Have

  • Ideally, 1-3 years of OOH/DOOH sales experience, or a track record of sales success within the advertising, marketing, or SaaS industries.

  • A proven track record of success in quota-carrying sales roles or experience partnering with a quota-carrying account executive as a sales assistant or account manager.

  • The ability to prospect, develop opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.

  • A strong understanding of OOH/DOOH, audience targeting, and data-driven media campaigns, or the ability to learn our industry quickly.

  • The ability to clearly articulate the value of sophisticated media solutions.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience using CRMs to track prospecting efforts, sales analytics, conversion rates, sales cycles, and deal quality.

  • Experience creating and delivering in-person presentations using Google Slides, PowerPoint, or other presentation tools.

  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to accelerate pipeline activity and ultimately close deals.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
