About Us

Uscreen is a profitable and fast-growing SaaS company. We’re on a mission to revolutionize the way video entrepreneurs and creators monetize their content. Our all-in-one video membership platform helps creators generate revenue through subscriptions, communities, courses, and live-streamed events across web, mobile, and TV apps.

We’re building a team that doesn’t just support creators, we partner with them to help their businesses thrive. That’s where you come in.

What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive I, you’ll own the full sales cycle for creators joining Uscreen on our Starter and Growth plans. This is the entry point onto our Account Executive team, and it’s built for someone who has already run an outbound motion — as an SDR, a BDR, or in an early AE seat — and is ready to own deals end to end.

You’ll also be expected to:

  • Proactively source and engage new business using outbound strategies: targeted prospecting, cold outreach (email, phone, social), and account research.
  • Identify, research, and qualify prospects based on “customer readiness,” including social presence, audience size, and the quality of existing content.
  • Own the full sales cycle end to end — discovery, demo, objection handling, negotiation, and close.
  • Deliver compelling discovery calls and demos that showcase Uscreen’s platform value: from lead pages and churn reduction tools to cart abandonment features, subscriptions, VOD, and live events.
  • Work every inbound lead and demo request assigned to you with speed, while keeping outbound as a core engine of your pipeline.
  • Revive dormant trials and stalled deals rather than waiting on the next new lead.
  • Recognize when a prospect is a better fit for our premium or strategic segments, and route it cleanly to the right seller.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Onboarding, and Customer Success to refine messaging, improve outreach, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly pipeline and closed-won revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene with activity logging, opportunity updates, and forecasting.

Who You Are

  • Prior outbound experience is what matters most here. A strong SDR or BDR background counts for more with us than a year spent working inbound; roughly a year of AE experience works too. What we’re looking for is evidence you’ve run an outbound motion and built pipeline from scratch.
  • A track record of carrying a number and hitting it — you can walk us through your quota, your attainment, and what you did in the months you were behind.
  • Confident in cold outreach: you write prospecting emails people respond to, lead first conversations with ease, and handle objections without breaking stride.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and structured in managing pipeline and follow-ups — CRM hygiene is a habit, not a chore.
  • A self-starter who doesn’t need a manager to light a fire. We’re remote-first, and nobody fills your calendar for you.
  • Coachable and self-aware: you listen back to your own calls, take the feedback, and apply it on the next one.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator who can adjust their approach for a bootstrapped creator or a corporate executive without missing a beat.
  • Early in your closing career and hungry to prove it.

Nice to Haves

  • Passion for the creator economy, digital video creators, and online communities.
  • Experience selling video platforms, membership software, course or community tools, and/or OTT video solutions.
  • Previous training in a sales methodology (e.g., Challenger Sales, MEDDICC, SPIN).
  • Experience in a product-led or trial-led sales motion.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation: base plus commission
  • Flexible PTO
  • Medical benefits with cost sharing: health, dental, and vision
  • Remote-first work with a stable home base
  • 401(k) plan with company match (US based)
  • Stipends for technology, coworking space, and professional development

Note: Benefits may vary depending on location and local regulations. Final eligibility and coverage details will be shared during the hiring process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
