Job Description

More than 50% of the time, an Account Executive works “on the road”, engaged in sales activity away from the office or home office. Typical sales activities include meeting with clients or borrowers outside the office to originate loans or conducting promotional activities to support their sales. Tasks done inside an office, over the telephone or via computer do not count towards exempt status. No more than 20% of their time is dedicated to activities not related to outside sales.

Duties include:

  • Engage with Client and Prospective Client database through multiple markets including Phone, Email, Direct Marketing, social media tools
  • Communicate / Develop relationships with Operations / Fulfillment team members.
  • Provide market intelligence.
  • Have fluency of industry knowledge and enhance your expertise through training, industry publications, lending bulletins.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the Organization’s Lending policies, procedures, products, and technology.
  • Conduct group presentations over phone/video to promote the Organization’s Value Proposition and present our process, product, and technology platforms.
  • Provide excellent service through disciplined follow-up and guidance to our Broker Partners
  • Strong sales skills and knowledge of the mortgage lending business.
  • Communicate and work with Account Managers as necessary to ensure desired production results.
  • Continue and participate with training brokers and stay in connection with company processes and guidelines.
  • Help new brokers with Lead+ approval process to conduct business with Lead+.
  • Educate mortgage brokers with loan products, pricing, and point of contact, and be the one who communicates with prospective/existing brokers.
  • Speak and correspond with accounts on a daily to ensure their utmost satisfaction.

Depending on experience and location the Account Executive is paid minimum wage plus commissions on the sales closed. Our compensation structure provides you with the opportunity to earn based on your performance.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience as an Account Executive in Wholesale Lending.
  • Proven production history and established broker base.
  • Strong knowledge in "non-QM" Paper and 2nd lien programs.
  • Excellent networking and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and disciplined.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge along with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work remotely to establish, maintain and grow relationships, face to face if local over the phone, email, or other electronic forums.
