Your Opportunity 

In this role, you’ll connect with commercial leads across North America to build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities, consistently achieving quota through effective pipeline generation and accurate forecasting. Working closely with sales management, the role involves developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective customers while providing reliable forecasts for future growth. In partnership with an application engineer, prospects are guided through the buyer’s journey to generate new business and reach ARR targets. Success also comes from building deep industry and product expertise, enabling you to effectively showcase SimScale’s value proposition across diverse industry segments.

What we expect from you 

  • 2+ years of experience in selling to engineering-related industries is mandatory
  • Experience selling simulation software is required
  • 5+ years of proven success in SaaS or software sales
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas through strong prospecting, pipeline management, and closing skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to engage technical stakeholders and business decision-makers alike
  • Deep understanding of the U.S. market, with experience selling to small and mid-sized customers
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, remote startup environment
  • Strong business acumen and ability to articulate value across multiple industries
  • Background in engineering, physics, or a related technical field is a plus
  • You are based in the United States

  • Total compensation (OTE) (base + uncapped variable) range = $120-180k
