About the Role:

As an Account Executive, New Business, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities for our Finfare Financial Charge Card, as well as selling our Data Analytics Suite. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to product demonstrations and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identifying and engaging prospective customers for the Finfare Charge Card and Data Analytics Suite.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified outbound and inbound leads through ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Research and engage businesses that may benefit from Finfare Financial’s offerings
  • Own the full sales cycle—from discovery and needs assessment to closing deals while consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, guiding potential customers through the decision-making process.
  • Educate prospects on the value of turnkey credit insights without requiring in-house data teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams) to customize solution pitches and materials
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and report on KPIs and progress.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders across multiple industries.
  • Stay up-to-date on fintech, credit, and risk industry trends.
  • Shape the future of the team, contributing to sales strategies and mentoring new hires as we scale.
  • Strong ability to self-source leads, build relationships, and close deals with business owners and financial decision-makers.
  • Experience with consultative sales techniques, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
  • Experience with various sales methodologies: ex Sandler, MEDDICC, The Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

  • This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sitting, lifting (≤25 pounds), finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.

Work Environment

  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
  • Somewhat quiet but can be boisterous at times.
  • Attire is business casual

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of B2B commercial card sales experience to middle market companies.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS, fintech, or financial services.
  • Prior experience working in a start-up or small business employer is highly desired.
  • Experience selling a corporate card & expense management tool is highly desired.
  • Prior experience as a founding team member in a startup is highly desired.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, high-energy startup environment.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience selling into startups, SMBs, or companies without technical resources is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Strong consultative selling approach and ability to distill complex topics into simple value props.
  • Comfortable managing the full sales cycle independently.
  • CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) preferred.
  • Passion for fintech, data, or enabling underserved markets is a bonus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • This role is 95% remote, with up to 5% travel to our Irvine, CA headquarters (as needed) on a quarterly basis.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $110K-$140K + Up to $125k in commission (depending on experience).
