Who You Are:
- A detail-oriented and proactive communicator with a strong pulse on culture and community. You’re curious, collaborative, and energized by the opportunity to bring inclusive storytelling to the forefront—especially in the food, beverage, and lifestyle space.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to account management, campaign planning, and day-to-day execution
- Help craft and deliver culturally relevant strategies, pitches, media materials, and recaps
- Build relationships with diverse clients, journalists, influencers, and internal partners
- Conduct media monitoring, trend analysis, and competitor audits
- Support multicultural media outreach, interview staffing, and event execution
- Assist with influencer programs, press events, product seeding, and launches
- Own logistics and administrative functions including vendor setup, invoicing, and sampling
- Stay informed on emerging cultural moments and client-relevant narratives
- Uphold Edelman’s Code of Ethics and values in all your work
- Proactively drive your professional growth and development
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in multicultural communications, marketing, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interest in food, beverage, and lifestyle sectors
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) writing and editing skills preferred
- Experience in multicultural media or influencer relations a plus
- Knowledge of media tools such as Cision, MuckRack, or Meltwater
- Excellent writing, research, organization, and time management skills
- Passion for applying cultural insights to strategic and creative thinking
- Agency or brand-side experience in a relevant sector is a bonus

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
