About Marble

Marble is building the new operating system for youth mental health by connecting schools, therapists, and health plans on a single platform to unlock access to care today and raise the standard of care for tomorrow.

Last year, 1 in 10 teens attempted suicide. At the heart of this crisis is a severe lack of access to quality, affordable care. When kids can't get help, problems compound and preventable tragedies follow. Marble partners directly with school counselors to get students into care quickly by connecting them to licensed therapists through the insurance coverage they already have, with no waitlists.

We're an early-stage, fast-moving team. The people who join now will shape how we build and what we build.

About the Role

Healthcare providers see kids who need mental health care every day, but too often they do not have a fast, reliable place to send them. As one of the first Account Executives on Marble’s New Verticals team, you’ll build our healthcare go-to-market motion from the ground up, turning early demand into active referral partners and a new engine for company growth.

You’ll own the motion from first outreach through activation. You’ll decide which accounts to pursue, reach providers by phone, email, and in person, earn trust with clinical and operational stakeholders, and stay close until partners turn their commitment into consistent referral volume. Along the way, you’ll test and refine the messaging, collateral, and follow-up that become Marble’s healthcare playbook.

The opportunity is big: prove a repeatable way to partner with healthcare providers, shape how Marble expands across markets, and help hundreds more kids get into care. What you learn and build will influence the product, the team, and the growth trajectory of the company.

What You'll Do
  • Own a pipeline of healthcare accounts from first outreach through ongoing referral activity

  • Build relationships with FQHCs, independent pediatric practices, and health systems through cold outreach, virtual meetings, and regular site visits

  • Earn the trust of clinical and operational stakeholders by understanding their workflows and explaining Marble’s care model, outcomes, and referral process clearly

  • Turn partner interest into action by securing commitments, driving the first referrals, and building habits that sustain referral volume month over month

  • Test new messaging, collateral, and outreach tactics, then use the results to sharpen how Marble reaches and activates healthcare partners

  • Keep a disciplined view of the pipeline, prioritize the accounts most likely to drive impact, and follow through reliably

  • Bring patterns from the field back to product, clinical, and leadership teams so Marble can better serve providers and the families they refer

Who You Are
  • You have 4–7 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years owning a sales or go-to-market motion in an early-stage or similarly high-ownership environment

  • You have carried a quota, built your own pipeline, and consistently met or exceeded your targets

  • You have directly built or helped build a sales playbook—from messaging and targeting to process and follow-up—and can explain how field feedback shaped it

  • You build trust quickly with busy, knowledgeable stakeholders by listening well, asking good questions, and tailoring your approach

  • You are persistent and organized across cold outreach, in-person visits, and follow-up, even when interest takes time to turn into action

  • You take ownership in ambiguity: when context, materials, or process are missing, you find or build what you need and keep moving

  • Experience working with healthcare providers or building a provider-led, bottoms-up sales motion is a strong plus

  • You are mission-driven and energized by improving access to mental health care for kids

Why Marble
  • Direct impact on kids' mental health access — this work is meaningful

  • Greenfield opportunity to build something from the ground up, with leadership support and a clear growth path

  • Small, experienced team that moves fast and takes the work seriously

  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and equity

Compensation

Marble offers competitive compensation for a high-ownership, high-impact sales role. Compensation includes a base salary, commission, meaningful equity, and full benefits.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
