As an Account Executive, you will close high-velocity B2B SaaS sales, lead demos, and collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies.

About Us

Turnstile is the day one revenue platform you’ll never outgrow. We streamline quoting, billing, subscription management, and financial reporting for modern B2B SaaS companies. Our customers range from seed-stage startups to companies scaling to $100M ARR. We are backed by top investors, including First Round Capital, and have recently raised our Series A.

We're a small, senior, and proven team (the last company we started was acquired by Bloomberg) with multiple "best places to work" awards to our credit.

🚀  The Opportunity

We’re looking for an early AE to help us scale our customer base. Reporting to our CRO, you’ll help lay the foundation of our sales motion by engaging and closing high-quality prospects across multiple verticals. Most prospects convert quickly (many on the first call), so this role is perfect for someone who loves to delight customers with a compelling product. This role is designed for someone who wants to win fast, engage with early-stage founders, and help build a world-class GTM engine from day one.

📈 What You’ll Do

  • Run and close a high-velocity sales cycle. Typical deals are SMB-sized, selling directly to founders, finance, and operations, and most deals close within 1–3 weeks of initial outreach.
  • Lead compelling demos. Understand prospect pains, tailor the narrative, and assess fit across segments—from early-stage teams to mature SaaS orgs.
  • Experiment with outbound. Working with SDRs, use CRM and AI tools to test messaging, channels, and sequencing—and build repeatable playbooks from what works.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership. Work directly with our CEO and GTM leaders to refine positioning and scale outbound strategy.

🔎 What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally at an early stage. You’re hungry, curious, and excited to thrive in a high-growth startup environment with a huge TAM.
  • Proven winner. You have excelled in consultative selling of complex SaaS products.
  • Strong, empathetic communicator who engages executives with clarity and confidence.
  • Entrepreneurial operator. Thrives in ambiguity, seeks feedback, and runs toward ownership.
  • Energized by outbound. Familiarity with outbound workflows (CRMs, sequencing, and AI-based tools) and comfortable with cold outreach, objection handling, and starting conversations from zero.
  • Organized and process-driven. You iterate quickly, optimize how you work, and love trying new tools.
  • Located in SF/Bay Area with the ability to meet customers and attend events.

➕ Bonus Points

  • Existing network of startup founders. You’ve built relationships in the ecosystem we sell into.
  • RevOps experience. You have sold or worked closely with products in the quote-to-cash space.

💫 Why Turnstile?

  • Competitive and Fair Pay. Equal pay by role and level at the 75th percentile of SF salaries ($200,000 to $250,000 OTE for this role, depending on level) plus meaningful equity
  • Fully Covered Health Benefits. 100% paid medical, mental health, dental, and vision premiums for you and your family
  • Paid Parental Leave. 16 weeks for birthing parent, 12 weeks for all other parents welcoming a new child into their home
  • 401(k). With 4% company contribution, regardless of what you put in
  • Flexible PTO. Take the time you need to unplug and unwind

👫 Sound like a fit? We’d love to hear from you.

Turnstile is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We learn from perspectives that are different from our own and are committed to creating an equitable and inclusive environment for all our employees.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
