Position Overview

The Account Executive - Financials is a key sales role responsible for driving new business growth and expanding OneSource Virtual's Invoice Pay and accounts payable solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This position requires a consultative sales professional who can identify client needs, articulate the value of OSV's Workday-based invoice and payment processing solutions, and close deals that drive mutual success.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new client relationships for Invoice Pay and accounts payable services
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship building
  • Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments to understand client pain points in invoice processing and AP workflows
  • Present OSV's Invoice Pay solutions and demonstrate ROI to C-suite executives, finance leaders, and procurement teams
  • Develop and execute account strategies to close new business and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing in collaboration with leadership and legal teams

Relationship Management

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with prospective clients throughout the sales cycle
  • Partner with marketing to execute campaigns, webinars, and events targeting the Workday user community
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the Workday ecosystem and broader ERP/finance technology landscape
  • Coordinate seamless handoffs to implementation and account management teams post-sale
  • Represent OSV at industry conferences, Workday events, and client meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably finance/accounting solutions
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
  • Experience selling to finance, accounting, or procurement organizations
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, invoice processing, and payment workflows
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and sales productivity tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Workday solutions or services
  • Knowledge of the Workday Financials ecosystem and partner community
  • Existing network of Workday customers or finance transformation contacts
  • Background in accounts payable, finance operations, or shared services
  • Experience with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies
