Luma’s mission is to build unified general intelligence that can generate, understand, and operate in the physical world.
We believe that multimodality is critical for intelligence. To go beyond language models and build more aware, capable and useful systems, the next step function change will come from vision. So, we are working on training and scaling up multimodal foundation models for systems that can see and understand, show and explain, and eventually interact with our world to effect change.
This is a call to the Hollywood insiders and strategic sellers ready to pioneer the next creative frontier. We are looking for a high-impact Account Executive to spearhead our entry into the Entertainment vertical. This isn't about running a pre-existing playbook; it's about leveraging your deep industry network and sales acumen to write it in real-time. Your mission is to place Luma's frontier technology at the heart of the world's leading studios, production houses, and agencies, defining how creative AI is sold into production workflows.
- Pioneer the Playbook: Architect and execute the full-cycle sales motion for the Entertainment vertical, from initial prospecting and pipeline generation to closing our first key accounts.
- Leverage Your Network: Engage your deep, pre-existing network of decision-makers across studios, production houses, and talent agencies to open doors and build strategic relationships.
- Translate Tech to Value: Run deep-dive workshops to map current production workflows (pre-vis, on-set, post) and demonstrate how Luma’s visual-first AI creates tangible value and efficiency.
- Close High-Impact Deals: Navigate complex, multi-threaded enterprise deals, draft proposals, handle objections, and negotiate MSAs that establish Luma as an indispensable tool in Hollywood.
- Be the Voice of the Market: Funnel market intel and critical feedback from studio clients back to our Product and Engineering teams to directly influence our roadmap.
- 6+ years in a closing role with a consistent record of exceeding quota (ideally $1M+ ARR), selling directly into the entertainment industry.
- A robust, pre-existing network and deep fluency in the Hollywood ecosystem, including studios, production companies, VFX houses, and talent agencies (e.g., CAA, UTA, WME).
- Mastery of the full, outbound-heavy (60%+) sales cycle: prospecting, running discovery, designing POCs, navigating procurement, and closing complex, multi-threaded deals.
- You are fluent in the language of production: pre-vis, on-set VFX, editorial, and pipeline tools.
- You were a trailblazer who took a startup into the entertainment vertical and made it a core revenue stream.
- You have a rolodex of producers, VFX supervisors, and studio tech leads who consider you a trusted partner.
- Direct experience as an agent or in a business development role at a top-tier talent agency or studio.
- Zero-to-one is your comfort zone; you are energized by the ambiguity of building a new territory from scratch.
- You can translate "neural rendering" into "faster post schedule" without losing the room.
- You believe better tools unlock better stories, and you want to be the one to prove it to the industry.
- "Iterate, ship, learn" sounds better to you than "submit, review, wait."
This position offers competitive compensation, equity and benefits.
CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $100,000 – $150,000 per year.
