About the Role:

The Tubi advertising sales team is looking for a driven Account Executive with a strong background in Direct Response advertising to join our growing team in Los Angeles – preferably with TV experience across linear, CTV/OTT, and addressable. 

Based on the West Coast, this individual will be responsible for identifying and closing new business, managing a self-sustaining book of accounts, and expanding client partnerships with Direct Response brands and agencies. This role demands a proactive seller with a new business mindset, backed by proven industry connections and the ability to work independently and within a team structure. Lastly, this individual should have a have a strong understanding of the overall video advertising marketplace, Tubi’s place within it, and the multiple buying models that advertisers use in the modern landscape.

This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles office with the expectation of 3 days a week (minimum) in the office. 

This role reports to the Senior Vice President, East & Direct Response.

Responsibilities

  • Execute direct and programmatic ad sales strategies that include clients and ad agency buying, planning and account groups
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective advertising partners who specialize in direct response seeking measurable outcomes
  • Develop presentations, verbal and written pre/post sell efforts and account maintenance processes
  • Collaborate with account management and ad ops to deliver successful campaigns

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in direct response media sales or new business development
  • Proven track record of sourcing, closing, and growing DR business independently
  • Strong network of direct response advertisers and agency partners
  • Deep understanding of DR KPIs and performance-driven campaigns (CPA, CPL, ROAS, MER, etc.)
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a bias for action
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Solid knowledge of media math, terms, measurement types, and buying models within Direct Response

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for a sales incentive compensation plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. 

California Compensation

Base ($160,000 to $190,000 / year) + Sales Incentive Compensation Plan + Benefits
