What will you do

As an Account Executive at BlinkOps, you will play a key role in growing our new business customer base and expanding relationships with existing clients. You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation to qualifying meetings booked by the SDR and closing deals. You’ll partner with prospects to understand their security and operational challenges and demonstrate how BlinkOps can solve them.

In addition, you will be part of and work closely with BlinkOps' go-to-market teams, including marketing, sales development, customer success, RevOps, and product teams, to align strategies, optimize lead generation, and ensure the seamless execution of sales processes. You'll also collaborate with other internal stakeholders, such as solutions engineering and leadership, to ensure clients receive the best possible solutions and experiences from onboarding through renewal and expansion.

This is a remote position in the US West Coast. Preferred location should be North California.

Your responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives, quotas, and growth targets in assigned territory.
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective customers.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Present and demonstrate BlinkOps solutions to key decision-makers within organizations, focusing on SecOps, Cloud Security, and IAM needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and aligning them with our solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales engineering, customer success, product) to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports, ensuring transparency in revenue and growth projections.
  • Stay informed about emerging market trends and competitors to position BlinkOps effectively and work closely with the marketing team.
  • Present sales and revenue reports regularly and offer insights into market shifts and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager in a relevant space, such as Security Operations, including areas such as SOC, MDR, SOAR, and/or cloud security.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the challenges and technologies associated with cloud operations, SecOpsSecurity Operations, including areas such as SOC, MDR, SOAR.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to drive the sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to foster trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working with a sales tech stack, including CRM (Salesforce), sales enablement tools (like Zoominfo, Sales Navigator, Chorus, etc.), and marketing automation platforms.
  • Commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Advantage: BS/MS degree in business administration, technology, or a related field.

Additional Information:

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 — $170,000 USD + Variable Compensation (where applicable)

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
