Company Description

Wiser Solutions is a suite of in-store and eCommerce intelligence and execution tools. We're on a mission to enable brands, retailers, and retail channel partners to gather intelligence and automate actions to optimize pricing, marketing, and operations initiatives, both in-store and online.

Job Description

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours may be required as job duties demand.

We're a B2B SaaS company in the pricing and market intelligence space, serving brands, retailers, and e-commerce operators. We're hiring an Account Executive to own expansion across our global brand accounts and to turn the relationships we've already earned into a bigger footprint as we scale.

This is a hands-on role for someone who reads an account and sees where it can grow. You'll own a sales number and treat our existing book of global brand clients as territory to expand: mapping the white space, building the relationships that open doors, and using data to identify opportunities. You'll generate your own pipeline and close your own deals. If you like owning accounts you can grow, thinking a few moves ahead and turning a foothold into a footprint, this is built for you.

You'll report to the VP of Sales and Marketing and work closely with Customer Success, Sales Engineers, and the wider sales team — the people who help you land and grow each account.

Essential Functions (details of the job)

  • Own and execute the full sales cycle for expansion opportunities within our existing brand accounts globally — from identifying the opportunity through to close.
  • Map the white space across your book of accounts: analyze current product adoption, geographic coverage, and category footprint to pinpoint where each account can grow, and build a territory plan that prioritizes the highest-value expansion paths.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to grow the existing book of business, staying aligned through renewal cycles to identify expansion opportunities, support renewals, and help mitigate at-risk accounts.
  • Identify and build relationships with new stakeholders within target accounts, expanding our reach beyond existing points of contact.
  • Navigate strategic customer conversations to uncover core business challenges and surface areas to expand.
  • Develop proposals that address customer organizations' needs at scale.
  • Run product demos confidently via Microsoft Teams or similar technology.
  • Leverage our sales stack — Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Claude — to research accounts, map white space, manage pipeline, and work opportunities efficiently.
  • Share ideas and perspectives on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), product marketing needs, sales collateral, and new approaches to expansion.
  • Maintain regular and reliable work attendance.

    • 2-3+ years experience in selling software or SaaS solutions experience
    • Background selling to brands and/or retailers a plus

    • Experience using consultative sales methodology
    • Must be able to uncover and quantify customers complex business challenges
    • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
    • Results-driven and able to think quickly on your feet

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

    • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
    • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
    • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
    • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
    • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
    • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
