·       Meet or exceed daily/weekly productivity goals, including high-volume outbound calls, emails, and both virtual and in-person meetings.

·       Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new prospects while strategically growing existing customers.

·       Maintain accurate and detailed forecasting, notes, and customer intelligence in Salesforce.

·       Proactively analyze customer needs and partner with Sales Directors to design the right packages and upsell opportunities.

·       Identify emerging trends, competitive activity, and category white space to support revenue growth.

·       Develop strong relationships with influential accounts to drive retention and expansion.

·       Engage actively in the industry to grow knowledge and improve closing effectiveness.

·       Assist customers with contracts, payments, and onboarding to ensure a frictionless sales journey.

·       Partner with internal teams (marketing, operations, leadership) to support sales strategy, share insights, and solve client challenges.

·       Attend competitive events and industry trade shows to prospect, network, and scout new business.

·       Invest in continuous learning through sales training, seminars, and industry education.

Qualifications

·       2+ years of tradeshow, media, and/or B2B sales experience with a focus on new business generation.

·       Proven track record hitting revenue goals in a high-volume sales environment.

·       Demonstrated expertise in both telesales/high-volume calling and in-person prospecting.

·       Strong CRM management expertise is required; high-level proficiency in Salesforce is essential.

·       Skilled in leveraging a full suite of sales tools—cold calling, email, LinkedIn/social media, and Microsoft Office—to exceed targets.

·       Knowledge of sales AI tools (e.g., Gong) and event management software (e.g., a2z) is highly desired.

·       Knowledge of the B2B Trade show industry, Media or expertise in General Merchandise, Gift, Home, Toy, Fashion, Beauty, or related sectors is a plus.

·       Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence key decision-makers.

·       Highly organized with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

·       Willingness to travel 15–20% for client meetings, trade shows/conferences, and prospecting.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
