Account Executive (Must Have Ad Agency Experience)
Location: Los Angeles (Remote day-to-day with regular in-person meetings + shoots)

Experience Level: 1–3 years

About Collier.Simon
We’re Collier.Simon—a full-service, independent creative agency based in Los Angeles. We build brands that move, matter, and make a difference through creative that actually performs. Our clients range from Fortune 100 companies to challenger brands across industries including CPG, beauty, health & wellness, finance, QSR, and more. Whether it's a fast-moving B2C campaign or a thoughtful B2B initiative, we combine strategic insight with bold creative thinking to help our partners grow.

The Role
We’re looking for an energetic, detail-obsessed, self-starting Account Executive to support a range of digital marketing initiatives for one of our major consumer finance clients. You’ll help manage the day-to-day flow of projects, partner closely with creatives and producers, and play a hands-on role in shaping work that spans TV/OTT, paid and organic social, and digital content.

This is a great role for someone who’s excited to learn all things digital, curious about how great creative comes together, and passionate about the ever-evolving world of content, platforms, and culture.

This role is remote day-to-day, but candidates must be based in Southern California. We regularly attend in-person client meetings, creative reviews, and lightweight video shoots in the LA/OC area—so local presence is a must.

What You’ll Do

  • Support integrated campaigns and content creation across social, TV/OTT, and digital channels

  • Lead the development and maintenance of project timelines and deliverables

  • Coordinate internal reviews and facilitate creative and production workflows

  • Build and refine client presentations and creative decks

  • Organize and manage client assets, deliverables, and reference materials

  • Support production logistics for lightweight video shoots (casting, location scouting, scheduling, talent coordination)

  • Sit in on and recap client meetings, tracking action items and next steps

  • Collaborate with the account and creative teams to make sure work stays on brief and on schedule

  • Keep a pulse on industry trends and social platform updates to better inform our work and recommendations

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of agency experience, preferably with exposure to digital or social campaigns
  • Must be based in Southern California and available for regular in-person meetings and shoots
  • Strong organizational skills and obsessive attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communicator—written, verbal, and visual
  • Ability to work independently while staying highly collaborative
  • Comfort juggling multiple workstreams at once with a can-do attitude
  • Curiosity about digital marketing, social trends, and how creative comes to life
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset—we don’t expect you to have all the answers, but we want you to come with ideas
  • Bonus if you have experience working on video content or coordinating small productions

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, open-minded, creative environment where ideas rule
  • Great clients, real responsibility, and room to grow
  • Competitive benefits including healthcare, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and PTO

An Important Note on Safety + Scams
Please be mindful of potential recruitment / hiring scams. We’ll never ask for application fees, banking information, or payment for equipment. If anything feels off, reach out directly to us at [email protected].

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
